porsche962fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
maybe for him is just to survive race 1 in top 10 and lose the weight for race 2 , front is interesting, Tingram and Butcher are some of the best defenders on the grid and Sutton will be desperate to get past them

and Cammish will also want to finished ahead of Sutton to keep his title hopes alive

Slightly down on the test of the championship contenders, but can easily make up a few places from the start.

If you call weaving on the straight and then taking out someone who passes you good defending I suppose?

Even at nearly 100 years old Paul Rivett has shown, budget notwithstanding, why he should have been on the BTCC grid decades ago.

i really really hope i am wrong here but i can see matt neal putting turkington into the paddock hill gravel to help cammish, up front tingram and butcher will be a bawhair apart all race with sutton in 3rd. cammish tries but cant pass sutton, neal himself spins at surtees and avoids a trip to the kremlin. rivett finishes in 10th.

race 2 is almost a repeat but turkington makes it up to 7th, tingram and butcher are still only separated by a rizla at the line, rivett finishes 9th.. he gets pole on the reverse grid draw

race 3... my crystal ball isnt working lol

If Matt Neal does a naughty like last year I am gonna come and kick his ass all the way to the old folks home.

All I want from Santa is Sutton, Turks and Camm doing their own thing and the best man shall win.

And please Mr Honda Engineer, don't f$%& the brakes up like last year!

maybe Lord Gow had a word with Neal, about putting the championship into disrepute if he does it again on Turks

Red flag, drivers ok, one stretchered off but got on it under his own power.

Hopefully we don't have any more in this weather (obviously we never hope to have red flags) with the tight schedule.

first race was good and to be honest, being at home in the dry rather than at the circuit feels a little better, but then again really wanted to see some actual racing this year so would have put up with the rain

Suns out now, not certain to rain again today. That will change things and may prevent the last race being run in the dark.

Quite the quandary now. Do they go slicks or wets? Probably cut slicks but I don’t think that’s allowed any more.
