Project Gotham Racing 2
Has anyone got the new Project Gotham for X-Box?
One word: fantastic! Such a leap on from the last game, unbelievable. Over 100 cars (which you can look at in a free roaming car showroom!!!) and hundreds of tracks across numerous cities. The handling arcadey and simmy, just the right level of enjoyment. And of course the icing on the cake...........wait for it......... IT'S GOT THE OLD NURBURGRING ON IT! RECREATED EXACTLY AS IT IS TODAY, EVEN HAS THE PAINTINGS ON THE TRACK SURFACE! IT IS UTTERLY ORGASMIC! Any thoughts? |

Es Nes has it. It's on my Christmas list. I just got PGR1 a few months ago, so I'm still into that. I also have a demo for MSR, the game on the Deamcast which is the predecessor to these games. Sounds good, hope I get it.

Played the demo, thought it fantastic, but might have to wait for xmas as i have just ordered max payne 2... But I should hopefully be getting Xbox Live soon, so i might have to get it before then...

the old nurburgring.....as it is now.
as it is now is not the same as the old nurby. As it is now included that shabby F1 track tagged on the bottom like an unwanted spot. |

Was looking at this one myself. Sounds like it's worth a purchase. I've gotta get Max Payne 2 as well though next friday.

its almost the full nordschielfe and looks better than the gpl/f1 2k2/f1c version though a bit fast do to the arcade nature. my pb there is a 6.24.551 in a porsche 911 gt1.
the not quite part comes from no pits and the start/finsh is on the back straight before would would have been the last few corners then rejoins at what would be turn 4 or 5 is you consider the first right a a double apex or 2 corners ... iirc anyways |

I think it's cause you need to register a credit card with microsoft, as a kind of insureance for them, or something like that. Makes it easier come subscription renewal time.

actually ... a gpl'er should be able to pick up pgr2 easyly. the cobra and muscle cars especially.

awesome just awesome, got the game earlier todya, played it for a couple of hours this afternoon, down th first 5 arcade races and the kudos challenege. I love the showroom section, a nice way to display all the game cars(and gibe them a trial run)..

you can get live as long as youve a live enabled game and a credit card ... you wont have a headset obviously

You need to buy the starter pack to get your subscription code though. And the headset's pretty cool!

Damon: Was it easy to set up? Who are you on broadband with, and what connection speed have you got? How does it run?
