Richard Kelly should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi everyone,

I co-drive what we think is a pretty unique rally car, a 1981 Honda Accord hatch which was rebuilt with a mid-mounted 1996 1600cc VTEC.

John, the builder/ driver built the car when rear wheel drive was still the favorite option.

OK so it looks like a bit of an old dog, but it's quick and reliable. Has anyone come across something similar?

Check it our at www.geocities.com/wasp_racing

A couple of years ago, Cars & Car Conversions magazine featured a project in a similar vein, although not built for rallying- a turbocharged 1.7 Renault engine, mid-mounted in a Volvo 480 Coupe shell....
