GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - Round 12 RESULTS

With the end of two enjoyable races of Monza GP2 round, we're proud to see that this round of GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition provided a lot of points for concursants! It's time to check the results:

Results of the Weekend - GP2 Round # 10 Monza (3-4/09/2005)

Poleman = Heikki Kovalainen

Race 1 (3/09/2005)
Winner = Heikki Kovalainen
2nd place = Nico Rosberg
3rd place = Nelson Piquet Jr.
4th place = Nicolas Lapierre
5th place = Adam Carroll
6th place = Giorgio Pantano
7th place = Neel Jani
8th place = Ferdinando Monfardini
Fastest lap = Nico Rosberg

Race 2 (4/09/2005)
Winner = Neel Jani
2nd place = Nico Rosberg
3rd place = Giorgio Pantano
4th place = Ferdinando Monfardini
5th place = Heikki Kovalainen
6th place = Adam Carroll
Fastest lap = Nico Rosberg

Note: Giorgio Pantano did the fastest lap time of Race 1, and Scott Speed did the same on Race 2, but Giorgio cut a chicane during his fastest lap thus his time was annulled, and Speed did his hotlap after changing tyres on Race 2, thing not admitted in Sunday races; in both cases, according to GP2 -and thus GP2 TWPC- sporting regulations, the points of the fastest lap scorer went to the 2nd quickest of both races, in both cases Nico Rosberg.

This fruitful round has one winner, who reached a new record of 16 points in a round: Quique! Congratulations for him! Mentions to CARLOS CARNERO, who predicted correctly the podium of Race 1, and for all these that scored over 12 points (Quique, DanFlag, Kidzer, Patubela, BootsOntheSide, Joselo and Sammyed), because they surpassed the previous record of points in a round.
Note to all: Due to last-minute quitting of GianmarĂ*a Bruni from team Coloni before Monza GP2 activity, all people that picked him on the predictions had all their Bruni picks turned to Vilander’s, according about what Rulebook expects about when a car changes its driver during a GP2 TWPC round.

57 - 3 points = venezuelangirl (TT)
58 - 0 points = foreversideways (TT), Birel4me (TT), dogui (TT), Emma (TT), marto (LT) The last four named entered predictions only on the Driver Championship round, and could score more points after its definition, at the end of 2005 GP2 Championship.

DanFlag became the favourite to be the 2005 GP2 TWPC champion extending to 10 points the gap over his new runner-up, that is... me. Cuervitti and Daisy are tied on 3rd, and SALEEN S7R is the best among those that didn't entered in all rounds of the Competition. That with just two rounds remaining, and three to define...

I think it will be harder for DanFlag to loose than for us to win! My target now is 2nd place.

PC crashed early last week and still not got it fixed so missed out on predictions for this and F1! Drat and double drat!

Quick post using a clients work computer!

Anyway wouldn't have done too well as with the exception of Kov and Rosberg i wouldn't have predicted the others top finishers anyway so losses at a minimum!

Monfardini?!! incredible drive from him really
