RWC should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As an outsider (i'm from queensland)i think you'll like melbourne. The place is half foreiners but they all get on rather well.
If you can't meet up with 10/tenthers you will still meet many like minded enthusiasts there so ahve some loose time to arrange things as you go
Have a great one!

Oh,by the way-if you see max or bernie plaese give them my congratulations for the great job they are doing-a very hard kick to the goolies should be fine.

Obviously the tickets to the GP are already purchased, but I shall have plenty of other days to fill.
Ah another pizza delivery boy!! Maybe I should become one again so I can afford going to Australia!!!! HAHA!

I've been backwards and forwards to Melb a few times now (yet to see the GP but it is earmarked for the near future) and a trip to the Dandenongs is a great Idea especially if one can make the trip late at night as the lights of the city spread out below is pretty damned impressive to see.

Well as I know few places in Melbourne as would many O/S 10/10thers I would suggest the Crown at a select bar in the crown (any suggestion ).

And maybe we should all wear something F1 ala in my case a Jag polo/t-shirt . I think Sat night is the way to go .
say 8.00pm . So guys who's in

Fine by me Mark.Your suggestion of the shirts is a good one but from expereince everyone does it around GP time. How about we start a new tread the wednesday before the event and arrange a venue etc.By the way for those of you who are interested the cars start to arrive tuesday night and the rest wednesday morning at Avalon.

Just a side note, there is the Victorian Historics at Phillip Island the weekend before. There are many international entrants and its one of the best historic events of the years.
The website is here for details:

Well I have got my tickets through the post. My new mobile has arrived, so I can speak for more than 7 minutes between charges (always handy). My noise cancelling headphones arrived this morning (after being sent to Italy by accident...), cheers Bose. I am off for a hair cut in a minute, then off to my last night of work for a while (you have no idea how good it feels to say that!!!). In 48 hours I will be on my way, I spoke to my sister last night (who still doesn't know I'm going!), and she said it was 38C a couple of days ago. Sweet.
Now for the important part, meeting up for a drink!
I will have to rely on internet cafes while I'm abroad, and they have a habit of blocking certain sites, so if anyone wants to arrange a pub or time, post on here for everyone to see, but let me know via peteconnors@yahoo.com
Looks like it's going to be a good one, see you there!

Am staying off lygon St. Let me know whether we are going to get together for a drink. Caught the sun on first morning here. Skin falling off. Should be normal colour by weekend!
