Oulton Park - Info needed
Going to Oulton Park for the first time next weekend for the BTCC, I am also taking the camera and I wanted to know where some good viewing points would be. Is there any places where fences don't get in the way and you can get a clear shot of the cars/track? Or maybe high banks so you can shoot quite a high shot over the fence? I also wanted to know the best viewing points for lots of action, regardless if there's a fence there or not. Can anybody help me out?

A few answers can be seen in this thread.
There are now fences at Old Hall and Lodge, plus at bits on the outside of the Knickerbrook complex - still very worth going down there though. However, generally Oulton is not liberally covered with fences, so it might be worth having a wander during qualies and practices to see where takes your fancy |

Knickerbrook is your best bet, you can get some nice head on shots and decent panning shots if ur quick. Lodge on the inside doesnt have that much catch fencing, but u need to be near the front to get anything decent. Up against the catch fencing on the outside of lodge can be oj if you get your focusing ok and manage to focus past the fencing.

Inside at Lodge is unobstructed by fencing... also there's a bit on the outside at the bottom of the run up to Deer Leap that has a fence free section
