Pierre Martins should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Porsche 956

One of the cars I have a huge admiration for is the mighty 956.

A friend of mine, Mario Silva, worked at the Weissach factory during the early eighties and was given these photos I just scanned. They are "official" photos from Porsche and quite rare, I believe. I've never seen these photos on the net. -

The second of those official photos looks like the 956's race debut- Silverstone 1982, drivers Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell.

Do you know which car this is?
Is it the one that was entered by Brunn Racing in the Historic Group C races, or is it another one?

If I'm not too much mistaken, that's Porsche 956-108.
