The rules are set so prototype will always lead the field so Porsche can't pull the Petit win any more. But nothing to say if the prototypes are dumb and wreck that strange things could happen in the rain

The Prototypes have wet tyres that aren't garbage now too, so that won't happen.
But wet would probably give Mazda a good chance. Turn down the motor a bit. |

Think Jan's pass shows why GTLM is usually good, Tandy knew enough to concede and fight again later rather than wreck both at high speed. Although as we know things change later in the day

Here is one I found that works in the USA if you have issues with other links. |

My receiver crashed a couple of weeks ago and picked up a cheap one on CL today and got it hooked up just in time for the start. Hooray for racing!

Already optimistic we'll get a GTLM race like 2017, not 2018. Without the saftey cars of course.

Does anyone have a link to a Speedway sector map? I can get sector times but they mean a lot more if I know which sector is which.

Oh Mazda, always something broken. No radio outside of front stretch in the 77, but at least it's something simple and not a turbo

The radio issue could also explain Jarvis' relative caution in traffic compared to Montoya, who is right on his rear wing. |

When you're changing your nose 20 minutes in, you're gonna have a bad time.

Acura has the speed on the banking sections ... I think Mazda might have turned down the boost?

Jarvis pulled away handily in the infield once the traffic was out of the way, so I don't think they've turned it down that much. The Acura has had good straight line speed all week though.

Looks like Mazda and Acura had the speed today. So what can the Caddies do? I guess we'll see when it rains.
