Bargs/Moffat tango in that last race was a big one.

I reckon Moffat was pretty sore after that.

ARG have the ability to do local adjustments, so a bit more boost for the Civic and a bit less boost for the Giulietta should do the trick to tighten up the field.

Except it does not seem very long ago that a Honda won all three races at Sandown (driven by the Argentinian driver !) which is a circuit requiring a modicum of horsepower.

Bit of a difference between a factory driver who is in them pretty much every weekend, and a 'name' driver who does a few media laps here and there outside of his championship duties.

Good to see that Chelsea has secured some addition sponsors.(see AA)

Hope she gets the funding to continue the season.

A youngster from Formula Ford has apparently purchased the Golf raced by Alexandra Whitleyin 2019.

He has a VW affiliated after market supplier on board so it is a good fit for a you up and comer.

To be prepared by MPC until he gets a crew together.

https://autoaction.com.au/2021/03/03...-tcr-australia

Some good news. A genuine new entrant who has put their own money down, and a sponsor new to the sport.

Amazing wet race by Chad Mostert to win by 32 sec. The whole telecast today will be worth a look, lots of action.

Attendance on a Saturday morning was much larger than than I'd ever experienced for a Shannons round previously. It'd would've been a great attendance for a Sunday afternoon prior to TCR.

Oops, looks like autocorrect got me with Chaz's name.

Not sure on the crowd size, it didn't strike me as that large which I put down to Covid. Haven't been to lots of Shannons rounds, but a few including Sandown 2019 and PI a couple of years ago.

Great result from Bargs, shows he's a good benchmark for the young drivers.

All the attendance you saw except for 7, maybe 9, are like you. Never turned up to a SN round til TCR came along.

I also don't get Wolley's criticism disinterest as a spectacle?

Through t1 and 2 at PI, they're fine.

The noise is proportionate, and there is intensity through the corner.

Everyone makes out like it's a Fiat Uno regularity.

The Sunday S5000 race , although shortened, was a great Race too, it was great to see Bargs snag a win in TCR and Trans Am is a really good spectacle. I believe the crowd reached the cap allowed under Covid regs. Interestingly fans were free to move around the track and paddock unlike Sandown next weekend.

No, not like me, I've been to more SN events pre-TCR than post. This was only no.2 there, and I think the last PI one had a bigger crowd - don't underestimate the following that GT has.

idk if you're trolling. But for all the excitement of S5000, the praise is overstated.

It was the case 2 years ago at PI when S5000 hadn't started yet.

I will underestimate the following GT has. It's complementary to following another class anywhere except the 12hr.

At PI, there has been some attendance approaching what was there last weekend, but often it's been as quiet as a state round.
