WSBK Round 7: The middlefinger round

They're at it again at the Nurburgring this weekend. Because Bayliss failed to score in the last 3 races we've got a very interesting championship again.

This happened at the Ring somewhere in the late 90's.

2. C. Checa ESP 166
3. M. Neukirchner GER 144

McCoy and his Triumph team are not competing, because of a lack of spare parts...

Great races yesterday. Bayliss making mistakes therefore missing the win in race 1 and missing the podium in race 2.

Corser has been looking racy since Salt Lake, the fight with Haga was brilliant. Shame for the rain...

Haga

If only Haga had bothered to start the season strongly. He'd be in with a great shot.

Great Championship building in the Supersport class for the 1st time in years...

Points after 6 rounds...

1. Andrew Pitt - 88
2. Fabien Foret - 84
3. Joshua Brookes - 83
4. Joan Lascorz - 81
5. Broc Parkes - 81
6. Craig Jones - 60
7. Jonathan Rea - 51

Brendan Roberts won the Superstock 1000 race on his Ducati 1098 - maybe he is an outsider for the Bayliss replacement

Points after 4 rounds...

1. Xavier Simeon - 73
2. Brendan Roberts - 63
3. Davide Giugliano - 48
4. Maxime Berger - 43
5. Michele Pirro - 43

Just a damn shame Aitchison decided to go for glory first corner and take out Tommy Hill who has had his leg broken by him!!

I dount Roberts will get the ride, he crashes too much for me. The6 would want someone with more reputation. Will obviously be Oz, Tardozzi only does Italy or Oz

Rubbish! Fogarty, Hodgson and Toseland are still from the UK, so he also does British (therefore, Byrne should also be considered).

It was Tode who caused the first corner accident, Aitchison was one of the victims. It's a shame Hill got injured again.

I would also be surprised if the ride would go to Roberts. He's quick, but if he's not on the podium, you'll probably find him somewhere in the gravel.
