I'm going to admit that more than once during the race I have been fooled by the on-screen graphics. They put up the profile view of a car with stats underneath, but sometimes it ends up being right on the track but facing the wrong way and I think that a car has had a spin!

Well .... we have no idea how fast the Toyotas could have gone had they real competition ..... the Glicks are way to new and untested and the Alpine is basically a p1-p2 hybrid, not a gas/electric hybrid.

Quite possibly, given a few races, the sub-hypercars could press Toyota enough to show what the Toyotas could really do.

If the Toyotas can run 3:27 in race trim, pretty sure they could average 3:30 if they chose .... and this is their first race.

3:27 was their overall fastest lap, during the race everytime I was giving an eye to laptimes chart, toyotas were however >3.30 all the time, at the moment their last laps are 3.32 and 3.33.
Hope bop will be revised after the end of season to let LMH start on a <1000kg min.weight for 2022.

Just found out from Glick how the 708 lost it's time to the 36. They were about to pit when it went fcy and they had to conserve fuel to make it around. Bummer!

I also did not understand this, because it would be a slow lap anyways with an FCY, but that is what it said on their instagram page.


edit: they said after fcy they only had a little fuel left so had to run slow back to pits. Maybe pits close during FCY, i don't know the rule on that.
