Mr Jinxx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Inter Nations Challenge - Cork, Ireland

Anyone else heard stories about how the Formula Libra (= Formula A) went this weekend? Rumour has it that 8 drivers went to hospital, black flags abounded and it was just a violent nonsense. I heard Alex Lloyd and Ben Hanley were victimised. Hanley was black flagged in the final, and Lloyd came from 20th (last) to 7th.

Not Formula Super A ... I think that Formula Libra is the same as Formula A. Formula Labra was the class racing in
Ireland this weekend, Don't know what the difference is, sorry ... they are both 100cc 2-stroke classes. Formula Super A is the top non-gearbox class. This meeting sounded like it was a dangerous affair.

watergrass hill was the venue, have'nt heard the report yet
iwill hear this weekend no doubt, hope there's no serious
injurys. biggest entry ever for the english team 34 drivers
Lloyd and hanley are brilliant drivers, although HANLEY,can,
be a wee bit flaky sometimes,I would think victimisation
romours could be taken with a pinch of salt.I my experience
it's usually the drivers own team who start them, you know,
like it's never thier fault that 3 driver went off in front
of me. be safe...

True Stevie! Pinches of salt when you listen to any racing driver. I believe Hanley was quickest in qualifying, but was black flagged in the final, and Lloyd (first time in a kart since 1999) got fastest lap in the final and won the award for the most committed driver after some ballsey (but clean) overtaking moves. Watch him in Formula Renault too. Committed tends to make the Renault Spares Departments rub their hands with glee!!

Libre is a combination of Formula A (rotary valve) and ICA (reed valve) engines, both run on the same tyres
