Graham should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Right - just been sorting out some questions for you lot. Here we go...

Q25. What special reward did Anthony Lago give to Louis Chiron after he won the 1949 French GP?

Q26. In whose memory was the first race on the programme of the first post-war motor race named, and how did he die?

Better huh?

Gerard, if you get this immediately, I'll wring your bloody neck!

Is my neck safe, Graham?

Answer to Q.26

Coupe Robert Benoist, held on the Bois de Boulogne September 9 1945. (Won by Henri Louveau on a Maserati 6CM)

Robert Benoist was heavily involved with the French Resistance during World War Two, along with the francophile English privateer William Grover-Williams ("Williams").

Late in the war, their resistance ring was betrayed, and both ended their lives in concentration camps at the hands of the Gestapo.

Brave men indeed.

I knew that, I really knew.
But with the threat of being strangled I decided to keep a low profile.

To be honest, you beat me, not only in time but also in knowledge.
I really can't come up with the answers.
But he, I'm only human!

I can, however, only learn from this.
Which I will.

You beat Gerard - good chap!

You're indeed correct, Tim. Yes, very brave blokeys.

But still awaiting answer to Q25... (told you the questions are better!)

Cheers!

Problem is, you've buggered my next question up - I was going to ask about the circuit. Swine!

I'll have to give you a three-parter next...
