John Gunn Photo

I am looking for a photo of John Gunns Lola T300 HU8 he competed with in the US F000 series. He purchased the car in 72 before he swapped to a March 73A for 73.
The car was used by Doug Barrow for 73.

Look on Mr Allen Brown's 'OldRacingCars' website. You will find a very comprehensive breakdown of all of the T300 (not to mention 'a zillion' other cars featured in his very comprehensive chassis # / history file.)

In fact here is a direct link to the page. Scroll down the page and you will see a picture and history for 'HU8' there

Edit: actually the pic I alluded to may be of the car in Doug Barrow's ownership..... Sorry for false hope

Thanks for the reply. As I have become a little obsessive about the history of F5000 cars and their drivers I have constantly searched the web for photos and info from the 60s and 70s.
A photo of John Gunn in the Lola T300 HU8 has proved elusive.
The other photo I am searching for is Neil Allen during his brief ownership of T300 HU4.
I am very aware of Allen Brown's "Old Racing Cars" website, in fact it is easily the most informative and accurate research tool around.
I spend so much time on the site my wife thinks it is a date site.

Hehehehe Just dont let your wife know you are checking on pictures of old loves, their statistics, and their possible current whereabouts, or reading up on what they have been up to for the last 30-40 years!
