Channel Five (UK)
Was on the tube today waiting for the train at London Bridge. They had this big poster with a Yellow car on it. All it says on the poster is 'Be a Grand Prix Driver, Channel Five' Usually id be too lazy to look and just ask :P But I had a look and this is what I found... Looks interesting? Anyone have contacts with this and can give any more info?
Time - 20:30 - 21:00 (30 minutes long) When - Monday 21st April on Five Vicki Butler-Henderson presents a series which gives a member of the public the chance to be a Tyrrell Formula One racing driver. One thousand contestants, observed by a panel of experts, are whittled down over six rounds. (New Series, Stereo, Subtitles) |

Oh, I saw an ad for that last night...I thought ITV was planning to do something with Tyrell in a Historic GP race as the prize but nothing seemed to happen.

i think it has something to do with if somebody becomes a gp driver of course they get training they gamble thier car and if they do not beat the time they lose thier car
(this probably will not happen but it would be cool if it did lol)

I've seen the trailer for it and I think it's quite amusing. At the end the car drives off (it looks like an F3000 to me) with a sticker on the rear wing saying 'My other car is a Fiesta'.
