PETER THORBY should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Wheels, exhaust, brakes and suspension

The exhaust manifold, the original cast iron one, is apparently a very efficient system. Grp A dissallowed any alteration.
7200 is where the rev limiter is set
245hp is at the fly wheel, at the rear wheels would be very ambitious!!
higher than 7200, risks crankshaft breaks
My Mistake, the discs are 315mm x 28mm NOT 330mm
the car ran on 16" rims, and i have left it that way
the front struts at the top mount, have been altered by us to get more -ve camber in.
apprx 4mm
i had a good weekend racing, but sorry no photo's

Is that 245 hp @ 7200rpm at the wheels?? I am guessing the rev limiter was raised. Does the car run standard rockers as i have had problems with these breaking with only a mild 288 cam.

The strut top also do not appear to be adjustible in pictures? Are these something that Gardner had made???
The rockers are standard BMW, but polished to relieve stress, i have never broken any, ever!!

The strut top, not sure what Gardner did, i suspect they had to be standard, but we have slotted them to get adjustment,
