RallyCross, getting started.
Firstly I'm sorry for repeating an already heavily covered topic but I'm struggling with rallycross. I'm content with license car protective equipment etc but cannot for the life of me find any information on local clubs or events. I live near Shrewsbury and work long hours so until I have tried it out and am happy I will keep to it, I don't want to be travelling miles just to chat to a few people. I am looking at purchasing and preparing something for the production 1600 16v so won't be spending massive amounts to begging. I know there's loads of info about but everything I find is quite dated.
Is there anyone in this area who competes? Where's my closest club? Where's the closest place I can race/watch an event? Other than the main circuits, are there many places to around to practise/drive when events aren't on? Any info will be massively appreciated. Jordan |
