Well done Steve

I love the angle of Junior's eyes in the first shot.

Aye, the sod slowed me down....

Thought i better check the front wing was still there before i belted up the hill. No down force at the front at speed would not be a good thing!!!!!!!!!

You have time to look at the wing at that speed? You guys are on a different planet from the rest of us. If I remember correctly that grass was collected in a faily sideways moment out of Hollow, which tells us all we need to know about car control.

I'd forgotten what a lovely looking thing it is, and how small. I don't think you'll be selling that one to Deryk when you've finished with it...

I saw the fairly sideways moment from the spectator area above hollow, it was more like an agricultural moment, 4 wheels on the grass by quite a way if I remember correctly!

Yes, but that's only fairly sideways for Graeme, he can get a lot more out of shape than that and still bring it back! He almost has me convinced that he was thinking he could set a good time at Shelsley even while still 3 feet in the air at 130mph.

Although it is sad the Predator will be down a few cylinders next year, i bet some people (such as Snr and Kevin) are looking forward to keeping the hairs on thier arms when the predator is started...

Mind you though plugging a big spinning shaft into the back of a predator is bound to annoy it! , maybe its only defense was to spit fire at you!

With having the same engine that we used in the Gould it will give me a direct comparison, so from my side it will be realy good for the development of my chassis, letting us know what we have and need to do, and what ever this is it will be done.

If you're very quiet, and listen very carefully, you can just hear the sound of Hillclimb anoraks like me leafing through their 2002 season programmes trying to remember how fast Junior managed to get the GR51 to go

I`m not sure but i think i would have been 3rd or 4th this year, but that was the Gould and they have had a lot more track time than me, i need to walk first before i can look at running, but thats not to say i won`t be trying.

Well, you asked for it:

Not 2002 but Shelsley Walsh June 6th 2004 24.24 seconds. Later that day Graeme went backwards into the Recticel at Bottom Ess. Woolley's avatar dates from that moment.

Ah remember that day like it was yesterday, the BBC had just finished filming up hill at Ess Approach when Graeme had his wee moment and ended up at Bottom Ess. Would have made some absolutely cracking telly for two seconds had they still been filming!

Correct me if I`m wrong mcb666 but are yours not from Bottom Ess - it really was spectacular from Ess Approach abke to see air between the car and the bank then see Jnr recover back onto the track. In one split second I thought this is the biggest accident I have ever seen shortly followed by I wonder if he can set a hil record after going up the bank!!! After all must be able to go through air quicker as less resistance than tarmac!!
