According to this weeks Autosport, MG have halved there budget for next years Le-Mans effort.

Also, this has been the possible cause of the problem involved with WSR taking up running the cars next year.

Could this well mean that MG will stay wih Chamberlain for next year?

I personally hope so. But then again MG have got to do what is best for there chances of winning the race.

Remember MG had to build the car this year. they intend to run the same car in 2002, so they won't need to spend money building cars, which is why they don't need as much. I still think Chamberlain will keep the contract, but WSR run the BTCC programme so have better links so who knows. I think WSR should concentrate on the BTCC first, leave LM to Chamberlain.
