F1 at Eau Rouge - The Final Time?

I have painted many scenes of Eau Rouge at Spa over the years - half a dozen from this viewpoint.
With Spa dropped from the F1 calendar, here is a tribute to this great corner with one of the greatest drivers to have won there - just finished and delivered yesterday!
Michael leads Rubens in the last F1 GP there (for the time being at least). The painting is 40 x 30ins. It was commissioned by a customer in Kent, UK.
Let's hope it is back in 2004.

Hopefully you will paint a CART car from this viewpoint!

BTW, it could be a Vodafone ad... so many banners! They really know where to sponsor! (Ferrari, Eau Rouge, Monza, Man Utd.!)

Well done!

I stood at a point close to there this year (only in practice though) and the scene has been captured beautifully. If only I could draw and paint like that!

Top picture as always Andrew.

I can even see the shed where I had frites with (far too much) mayo at the 6Hrs meeting in September.

Lovely work, but yeah, you need to do one of Paul Tracy there. I'd rather see a lot angle, though, from behind of him going thru Blanchimont, maybe battling with Junquiera.
