Well something is going to happen - at the test day Tuesday. See how many are there (or not as the case may be). Unless it's snowed off of course (the rally at Donington this weekend has been cancelled due to snow).

the amount of cars doing a test day doesnt relate at all to the amount of cars actually signed and committed to do the whole championship.

True - but if there's only a handful you'd have to say it's a fair indicator of trouble.

i expect to see a lot more than a handful. every tcr car they can gather together will be there to try to entice drivers and sponsors to get on board.

Looking at thick end of £20k for Silverstone National Circuit, for a day, so going to be expensive for a handful of cars to test. If it was due to be their launch date, you would imagine they have booked it exclusively.

It's not just TCR at Silverstone on the 6th. VW Cup are having their media day there, an I thought there were a few of the other BRSCC series testing as well.

It appears that TSL are offering live timing at http://livetiming.tsl-timing.com/181030

The first TCR session is in about 10 mins so I can guess we will find out sound how many cars (if any) have turned up.

They won't merge it into britcar no matter how many times you suggest it.

The two series are run by different clubs, have different length races etc.

It would be more likely to get merged as a split grid with one of brsccs other saloon championships if they get desperate.
