£8m for teams to run 3rd car
http://www.f1racing.net/news.php?ID=63865
One of the point of discussion at todays F1 meeting was the precarious position of Minardi and Jorden it was estimated it would be a lot cheaper for the leading teams to support Jorden and Minardi that run the 3rd car. This may lead to parts being given in lui of like a Ferrai chassie and a BMW motor of coarse they would be last years model but hey I can't see eddie of Paul complaining they should just be submitting a wish list. |

Funny isn't it? Considering we have 7 factory backed team compared to 3 small customers, instead of each pulling out $8m to race a 3rd car(with all the logistic and admin problems attached), wouldn't they rather each chip in $5m in cash or credit and distribute it to the 3 teams in order of merit to help tide them out?
And it actually takes so long for them to decide what's good and what's not for the sports and themselves. Aren't they paid millions for a reason? |
