not entirely relvant to this thread (yet???) but so many cars are being reproduced and or rebuilt to the extent thy're new is it just a matter of time before we have a genuine historic motorsport arena, AND a new, but old racings series?

This is the first year since I became properly involved in motorsport when I've not been that bothered about getting out racing ASAP, it all just seems a bit pony at the moment.

Well is it surprising with manufacturers doing a similiar thing ref: VW, Mini, Mustang, new Camaro and soon Dodge Challenger/Charger it seems we are all stuck in a time warp and yearn for the 'Good Old days'.
