Assen.

We have just got back from Assen and apart from the starter packing up on the Delta truck had a brilliant time. I must say that i came away thinking that the track is as much fun to drive as Spa. Lots of flowing bends and a white knuckle flat left hander leading up to the chicane before start straight.
Like you all i dont like chicanes but this one is great very fast and rewarding if you get it right.
Anyone else raced at the track.? I am going to suggest to Masters they have a look at getting some races there.
See you at Brands this weekend.

James Murray should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hasnt it been sanitised into a modern type GP circuit compared to how it was 10 years ago Ian? Always liked the look of it on the TV when the bikes are racing there and always thought it was a bike circuit.

Yes it is a bike circuit with lots of run off area's and yes it has been changed recently but i have raced at lots of tracks in Europe that have been made safe "nothing wrong with that". Whoever laid out the Assen track did a great job for me anyway." Cant wait to get back there"

I've heard many great stories about it. Doesn't the FISC organisation run there?

Assen is a great track. Has been modified last year (?), when they took the first part off (only used for bikes anyhow) and remodeled that. The paddock isn't bad either and acces is quite easy. Love the place a lot more than Zandvoort.
Some very ballsy corners there as well.
