Silhuette should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Spoke to some Bakkerud guys last night, and it sounds like they still haven't decided on whether to go WRX or not yet.

But on the bright side, it also seemed like Andreas is getting the hang of those electric RX-like snow racers. Quite interesting how much they need to adapt the driving style to suit the instant torque and equal weight balancing.

From what I've seen and heard so far, running both WRX and electrics seems to be a good thing. Let the big companies pick up the bill to promote their electrics, and the WRX cars continue for those of us who appreciate actual cars.

Real shame if Bakkerud isn't back this year: would really like to see him have another crack at the title.

I personally think the gradual transition is a better way of implementing it as well. As you say, it gives manufacturers a platform to demonstrate electric while leaving combustion engine entries open to the privateers.

Where and when is or was the pre-season testing this year?

Who was the driver at the Nurnburg RX track yesterday?

I was assuming that there is another World GCK team to be revealed which will include Marklund and another driver.

That would represent a serious commitment from GCK though (two cars in the Euros and four in the Worlds), so maybe you are right and they have dumped the Megane?

Seems all is not well with the Russian track, as they have dropped their round, after "failing to come up with a decent deal" with the rights holders.

So either they expected IMG to give them a discount or what was asked was far too much anyway and the Russians said, no thanks we wont get that back with fans.

Wish more tracks had done this to be honest, it is supposed to be a two way thing after all.

I doubt it, Lydden has a chance yes, but it will be all about money, from what I read they are simply losing a round.

ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport will expand to two cars in the FIA World Rallycross Championship for 2020 as it prepares for the electric future of World Rallycross.

Germany’s Timo Scheider will remain with the team for 2020, driving a Seat Ibiza RX as he has in the last two seasons of World RX. In 2019, Scheider qualified for the finals in the World RX of Abu Dhabi and the World RX of South Africa, and this year is targeting podium results.

...

The double DTM champion will be joined in the full season programme this year by team owner Rene Muennich. The German finished on the podium at the Euro RX of Germany last year on his way to P5 overall in the series.

Glad to see this. I was afraid that the commitment to Titans might mean we wouldn't see the Munnich cars in an IMG Championship this year.

Looks like there's a rush on announcements as entries closed on 2 March. From reading the regs, seems there is a cap on permanent entries of 16 and per round entries in WRX are 20. They have given with one hand by increasing the s1600 to 30 (which was a no brainer) but reduced ERX supercar to 25. RX2 cap is 25 which will never be hit. Honestly think these guys have no clue. Let's see what other driver announcements come out the woodwork.

No, they announced that it'll be a 10 round season instead. The support series which were to run in Russia have found their own homes, one at Nurburgring and the other somewhere else that I can't remember...possibly the ERX at Estering?

Silly if they limit full time entries to 16, last season had some decent racing but lacking in depth and I'm sure many of us wanted to see more on the grid.

Assuming that they haven't found someway to make the Vermont Subaru legal, then the "spare" Meganes have got to be a possibility...

Shaping up with a reasonable number of decent drives.

The two Hyundais (less so Timur) and two Peugeots have got to be in the mix for the championship, but plenty of the others have potential to win a final.

So, 11 permanent cars. Be good to get that up to around the 15 mark I'd say. Hopefully the meganes (one with Johann K in) and something for Bakkerud and Doran.
