New car: Leblanc Mirabeau

New LMP2 car?

The Leblanc Mirabeau is built to reach one aim: let the heart of a real sportscar driver beat as high as never before.
The car is designed and prepared to fulfill all the FIA/Le Mans standards to drive the car in Le Mans . With this kind of potential, the Leblanc Mirabeau really belongs on the racing track. That it is street legal, is almost sensational.

According GT-Eins the car is developed by LeBlanc Cars
together with companies Srof and PRC. The engine for the streetversion is prepared by Koenigsegg.

To be honost I don't think we will see this car on the race track, I think it's more a design study.

well - the chassis is at least ACO-spec. So it is a road-going LMP.

PRC did announce since years that they would like to build an LMP2. Now someone other paid the bill and came along with some help. I guess they want to sell some steet-Versions first to get some money together to go racing then.

at least it looks stunning!

even if it has not been raced yet , its probably the best looking LMP2 concept so far

Um, 4.7L motor? That's P1 territory. Also, 812 kg is pretty bulky for a P2.

I understand that's the engine of the road version. And 812 kg is indeed heavy, but maybe that's also for the road version. The info on their website makes it not clear if it's a LMP2 or LMP1.

For the road version you do not have to care for reglement-specs

I heared roumors that for the LMP2 Version they could use a 2l-Turbo that yet has some LM-Palmares.
