Formula BMW USA - Robert Wickens

Anyone hear where Robert Wickens will be racing in 2007 if at all and, is he racing in the BMW World Final in November?

rumour is he's racing Atlantics w/ Forsythe.

as far as Valencia, he's going for sure since he's got a "free ride" by winning the USA championship.

probably with Euro International.

Thank you Boro. Forsythe.....eh? Likely a future Champcar ride at the very least, good for Robert although I'd be a bit disappointed. I was hoping he'd try something in Europe next year. Can't seem to get even our best drivers racing over there. Robert certainly has what it takes to impress at the World Final though so, you never know, it's not too late.

Red Bull-backed Forsythe Racing, now that's some kind of combination. Sounds like a dream come true. The Red Bull backing could land Robert in Europe someday, maybe, you never know, it could happen.

Don't know much about the young Amercian John Edwards but quite an opportunity for him as well. Congratulations to them both.

John has been in Europe racing Formula Renaults the last two years. This year he scored a win in the North European Zone championship and ended up in 5th place. In the Eurocup he was 16th. He's born in 1991 so he's quite damn young for having two Renault 2.0 seasons behind him already.

Edwards is a Red Bull Development driver by the way so there's potential both regarding talent and backing.

Mods, with Enemy Ace's permission, can we merge this thread with Ace's "Red Bull and Forsythe to Atlantics" thread in CCWS? That's a better title for it too. Ace, check your PM's if you would. But then, I think, Bella would want it moved back here into National & International Single Seaters. Or, not?

No idea if anyone else's interested, but I think this Wickens/Edwards pairing at Forsythe CC Atlantics could be good fun to watch this year.
