It was always an odd decision to not make a DT Tradesman, there was no entry model other than the DS Classic until this year

Dorky nerd fact, the taillight shape, size, and housing has been the same since 2009, mainly because the HDs have been the same, even on the 5th gens. But because of this, I can spot a ram from a mile away. I think this continuity helps.

And ironically DOT calls it regular (weak) duty, mostly. You can up them to medium but generally that's 4500/450s that are medium duty. But they're mostly a slightly inflated copy of the 2500/3500 series

Well cause they are, doesn't matter what you change them to it's half ton, 3/4, 1 ton and dually (duellie for some reason in Virginia cause SW Virginia is odd and drunk)

He's correct about the above 3500 kilos loaded limit. This means that many ambulances, fire or safety vans are well above the said limit… The way the EV's market goes, including big sedans, they could well sale a lot of licences in a near future!

JHammy can probably address it more being commercial construction guy but residential multifamily structures are now concerned about needing to over build parking decks now with expected electric car load and required charging offering. I didn't realize how insanely heavy some of them really are
