I thought that the races looked a little short!
Perhaps the BARC are thinking that there will be lots of red flags and that by having short races, they'll still get everything in! |

The idea of Legends is that heats last five to seven minutes and the finals seven to ten - no longer really unless it is wet. A six lap race will take the best part of six minutes, and a ten lap one nine - so the number of laps are about right.
On the full Mallory circuit I think we had six and eight laps, and on the oval seven and 10 - so it is very similar. |

Agreed, but Anglesey is only 1 mile long - same as the Mallory oval.

But a lap of Mallory is <40s in a Legend. One of Anglesey will take about 55 at a guess.

I am so looking forward to this weekend, the BRSCC meet was a bit dissapointing, the bar there now is one of the best things they have done to the trac, see you all there, me in the pit lane getting chased by legends again, shame I won`t be chief pit this year tho

What a good meeting it was, even with the two red flags in the last Legends race there was a nice early finish. Would have been even earlier but for the hour-and-three-quarter lunch break though!

First time at Anglesey!
Legends I have seen before at Oulton a few years ago, the numbers of them at Anglesey though were great!!! Very enjoyable, will defiantly be going to this circuit again especially if Legends are on. Also managed to get my 10th signature to go to red |

More agreement from here - fabulous racing from most of the people out there, as close and as frantic as you can get. Generally well behaved too (if we just ignore that last legend race... ) Nice to meet you bluebeard - and see some of you there in August no doubt

Great racing - even the MX 5s were trying to emulate the Legends!
And as for the 24 car sports / saloons race; I don't think I've ever seen as much blue flagging!! |

A great weekends racing, Legends and MX5's were brilliant. The K&N Performance Filters sponsored championship was also a very good race.

Ta - I got the rear wing back - its useable for a race or two, if looking a little sorry for itself. Not sure if CoC likes drivers stopping on the slow dowen lap, and any way I thought I had a puncture, but it was the coolant from the Elan all over the circuit. The BMW in front of me must have thought the same, as he pulled into the pits just before the chequered flag, effectively allowing me past!

I would like to make it clear that I was the marshal responsible for the horlicks (http://www.marshalspost.com/images/tmp/bigxXaivv.jpg), before anyone else tries to claim that achievement as their own
