angst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Well, with Irvine third in free practice in Hungary, what trick bits were they testing at Elvington airfield (just up the road from me, near York) the other day, I mean what could you possibly learn from an airfield that is going to help you on a circuit like Hungaroring?

One of the most important factors to a car doing well at Hungary is driveability of the engine. So much of the track is driven at less than 100% throttle thtat you need an engine that responds precisely rather than a big peak power figure.
I reckon though that the Jags were running with v. light fuel load and they wont finish in the points.
The airfield testing was most likely new clutches and they were practising starts.

I'ts a new engine because it was equipped at Hockenheim. During the race I think it was Irvine that pulled away from Rubins on the straight before the first chicane.
