ADDED NOTES:

I've PM'ed a few othres for drivers who were not on the Homestead entry lists, but who are included in their Contest picks

I didn't notice them until I began preparing my scoring sheets.

The errors I saw were in Race Picks sections of the entires so i can still change them after qualifying in case you don't see the PM today.

Please check the entry lists on the www.indycar.com site the week of each race to ensure that you are selecting drivers who are entered. I don't want anyone to throw away points on a driver who isn't in the race.

Next week at St. Pete, I believe that Townsend Bell may be driving instead of Milka Duno, as an example, but double-check it before submitting your entry.

Thanks!

Sorry....

Vision Racing's times were disallowed due to tech violations...

I will re-score the entire contest on Sunday and have full results for you.

I will honor the actual starting grid, based upon what occurred, as opposed to what were the original results, including fast qual lap and driver...

It will take some time, so please bear with me...

Foyt and Carpenter's qualifying times have been disqualified due to failing post-qualifying inspection.

Will there be a correction based on that?

I've got to sort this out, since this did not even make it into the Indy Star the next morning...

I will have to recalculate everything in the contest to get accurate results for everyone...including the qualifying, since Vision didn't meet tech inspections.

I will get complete results posted for you on Sunday once I sort it all out, because people got moved back, people lost points vs. the original results, etc.

I apologize.

This hasn't happened before.

I wil delete my post of scores leading into the race

Here are the revised Qualifying results, based on the Vision cars times being disallowed.

Peno, NAC, Red Bulldog, drewdawg and Daisy all had Dixon on the Pole for 2 pts each.

Mattcat was closest to the Pole Average: Actual - 213.341 Mattcat- 213.501

Peno, NAC Red Bulldog, Daisy and Saleen all had Dixon for the fast lap for 2 pts. each

drdisque was closest to the fast lap speed: Actual - 213.548 Dr - 213.501

In the Top Three Rows, Peno had 8 pts. NAC and Red Bulldog had 7 each; Pro Racer, drewdawg and Daisy had 6 each; Alwaysfirst, Icemachine and ThePenguin had 5 eachdrdisque, Mattcat, captain crunch each had 4 pts. and Saleen had 2 pts.

Alwaysfirst, Pro Racer, Peno The penguin, captain crunch, Daisy and icemachine all had Moraes as the slow qualifier.

Always first had the slow speed average for 2 pts, and since he also picked the driver, he gets two bonus points as well.

No one had Hideki Mutoh as the "Just Miss, but others who picked a "Just miss" that actually made the top three rows got one point each. They are: Alwaysfirst, drdisque, ProRacer, ThePenguin, mattcat, Captain Crunch, Saleen and icemachine.

Here are your revised results from qualifying:

1.Peno - 14 pts.
2. Alwayfirst - 12 pts.
(tie) Daisy - 12 pts.
4. NAC - 11 pts.
(tie) Red Bulldog - 11 pts.
6. ProRacer - 9 pts.
7. ThePenguin - 8 pts.
(tie) drewdawg - 8 pts.
(tie) icemachine - 8 pts.
10. drdisque - 7 pts.
(tie) Mattcat - 7 pts.
(tie) captainCrunch - 7 pts.
13. saleen - 5 pts.

Now, I'll calculate up the race results for you...they will be done sometime soon.

Now for the race results:

Peno, NAC, RedBulldog, and Daisy all picked Dixon to win for 2 pts. each

In the "Tope Five," Daisy led the way with 5 pts., Peno had four, mattcat and captainCrunch had 2 pts. each, Saleen had 1 pt. All others had 3 pts. each

ProRacer and CaptainCrunch both picked Briscoe fr the Fast Lap for 2 pts. each

Alwaysfirst was closest to the fast lap speed: Actual - 213.308 AF - 213.482

In the "milestones" Peno, NAC and Red Bulldog got 4 pts each for Picking Dixon at the 50 lap and 200 lap marks. ThePenguin, Drewdawg, and Daisy got 2 pts each here for heir respective selections. No one picked marco to lead at lap 100 or lap 150.

NAC was teh only person to pick Will Power as 1st out for 2 pts.

In the Mover category, both Wheldon (22nd to 3rd) and Ed Carpenter (24th to 5th) moved up 19 spots. No one selected them

In the "Fall from Grace," No one picked Hideki Mutoh, who fell 17 spots from 7th to 24th.

Finally, Saleen was closest to the average speed: Actual - 171.248 Saleen - 169.211

It is important to note that Daisy was only a couple of tenths behind Saleen on the tiebreaker and was second closest and you'll see why that could have made a big difference if she had won this.

Here are your final results after one race:

1. Peno - 23 pts. (wins tiebreaker - missed avg speed by 24.073 mph)
2. NAC - 23 pts. (missed avg speed by 26.249 mph)
3. Daisy - 21 pts. (so close to a 3-way tie and a win!)
4. RedBulldog - 18 pts.
5. Alwaysfirst - 17 pts.
6. Proracer - 14 pts.
7. ThePenguin - 13 pts.
(tie) drewdawg - 13 pts.
9. icemachine - 11 pts.
(tie) captainCrunch - 11 pts.
11. drdisque - 10 pts.
12. Mattcat - 9 pts.
13. Saleen - 7 pts.

I'll post the template for St. Pete sometime on Monday.

Nice job everyone!

That was close, but let's just say Saleen deserved that last question correct, looking at the final result
