Would fully expect Halstead to still be on the grid somewhere, that reads like Excler8 have sponsors that his don't fit with.

2 prime front running seats now. Would assume one is Dan Zelos but that fourth car could be anyone. Wonder if the Team Dynamics link up might come into play???

Come in cookie !!! Would fit all the rumours if the money is available and adds to inter team competition increasing their chances in team championship. They always seem off the pace of Ford/BMW as only one driver contributes . Call them the BTCC red Bull

“And my work with Crazy Carts I hope is going to be even bigger and that doesn’t fit with some of the brands that support EXCELR8.”

Are they looking at a new team sponsor who wants to run a pair of cars? So maybe running 2 cars under Bristol Street branding and the other 2 with different branding, similar to what Toyota did this year. If that's the case then the single Crazy Carts branded car wouldn't have been possible,

That's what I thought. I have a feeling it'll either be Power Maxed - I just get a feeling they'd fit in with all the stuff outside of the racing, or Vortx, if Halstead was to go to a team where he can make an imprint on operations away from driving.

Then again, if Restart were to take a couple of i30s? Would that be a thing?

This is what I fully expect. The Toms as Team Vertu and then either another Vertu brand for the other cars or potentially they might have worked out some way for Zelos to run Davanti?

I forgot they were changing to from Bristol Street to Vertu. So we are going to have Team Vertu and Team Vortx. The grid is going to sound like a Latin vocab test. Just need Team Varta to complete the set

At least 2 teams I think - Graves and another I can’t remember, hoping for 3 car entries? But not seen any drivers. Given they only starting testing the car a month or so ago, they’ve got a big task rolling out a whole grid before April.

At this level teams means nothing. Budget comes entirely from drivers wanting to do it. I'm willing to be proven wrong but from the moment I saw the car that had escaped from Max Power magazine in 1999 then I had no expectation of it ever materialising. I suspect we'll get some low key announcement in February saying it's been put on hiatus for a year to fully develop the format and then it'll never be heard of again.

It's a worrying sign that there aren't any teams either putting out press releases about taking delivery of cars or any sign of any teams being out testing. How many cars have actually been built? How many have been delivered to teams? If none have been delivered yet then you're looking at a very compressed timescale for getting them to teams ahead of the season.

Interesting little video from Dan Zelos on Instagram, sounds like BTCC full season is the aim but he's got opportunities in other series too. Would still be very surprised if he's not with Excler8.

The only thing I can see stopping him being at Excelr8 is the cost of the seat. It certainly isn’t the cheapest.
