Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Petrobras as well, still turned up to launder even more money with McLaren. On topic though, it's looking as Indy Lights are in dire straits. 9 or 10 cars confirmed for St Pete (still hope Celis turns up), no Carlin, Urrutia, Alberico on part time basis. Dan Andersen hopes Carlin may field two cars later in the season, Team Pelfrey to find second driver.

The part time deals in IndyCar hit IL really hard, Binder, Fittipaldi, Kaiser, Claman De Melo, King... they'd all form grid to watch in IL.

If the Indy Lights grid is slim because of some teams moving up, I would consider that a positive.

There is a guy in Pro Mazda named Sting Ray Rob... And he's not from the southeast....

Ouch. In the Indy Lights race 2, Urrutia defended too hard and tangled with Herta. Anyway, Pato O'Ward had a poor weekend, so the championship fight is very tight.

Urrutia doesn't need a miracle after his Sunday win in Toronto, he just needs to match his late-season success from last year to give him a chance. He finished first or second in the last four races of 2017, and that's what it will take.

Santi won three of the last four races at Mid-Ohio (2016-2017) and won at Gateway last year. That sets up for a potential of three wins, with Gateway being 1.5x the points. He's 40 points back, and if he sweeps M-O and Gateway with max points (32-32-47), he'd claw back a minimum of 23 points. He's be 17 points back heading to the doubleheader finale. He has work to do, but considering the history, it's definitely a possibility.

Or at least consistently as quick as they are. Seems like he is just that TINY little bit slower but when you're fighting for a few spots those thousandths add up

Urrutia has said that the team doesn't give him the right car setup. I think that car setup is a teamwork, and the driver must tell what he wants. Perhaps he isn't good at that.

That always sounds bad for the driver when they say the team didn't give them a good setup, makes me cringe and think they can't communicate what the car needs or is doing. Or can't drive around the problem, more of a natural talent and specific that car setup. A good driver should be able to say a little about the car, the great drivers can tell you what the car needs AND drive around the problem until it can be corrected
