Brack-Rahal full season IRL
"TG is not paying Rahal but Honda and a major sponsor that is not Miller likely are. Look for two Rahal cars for the full season in the IRL unless things change drastically. Probably Kenny Brack in one seat. " Me on 11/22

I guess its good to see a former champion return to the series, Kenny was always very quick in the IRL and it will be good to see how he goes on his return

Yes he did, he was the 1998 champion. Of course he also won the 1999 Indy 500

AJ Foyt I believe , He started with Galles and then moved to AJ's team and won the championship.

Personally I think it's a shame that so many moves from CART to IRL. But it's nice to see Kenny back with Rahal!

are you refering to matthew halliday , the new Zealander ????
Im a tad lost here macdaddy , is there another Halliday I dont know about , or is it Matthew you mean because I doubt he has anything to do with Rahals team , in fact i think he is involved with Comquest (the team Laurent redon drove for in 02) |

He is talking about Don Halliday who most recently was with Fernandez if I'm not mistaken. Lots of rumors about Halliday being back with Rahal but I have yet to hear anything confirmed.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, guys. I refrained from using his first name simply because I can never seem to remember, "Don" or "Dan"? But yes, I'm quite curious as to whether or not Don Halliday is engineering this IRL team, as per rumours from a few weeks ago.

trust me to get it wrong. anyway about MATT Halliday , he drove for comquest in Indy lights in 2001 and then was linked to their IRL project in 2002 but they put him in a Infinity Pro sries car but unfortunately he suffered a nasty crash and broke his wrist or something like that and as far as I know hasnt been linked to anyone for 2003 , but I think that Comquest are still interested in his services. pure speculation on my part but you never know. sorry for the confusion guys

He crashed really hard in the first Pro Series race. Ugly, nasty crash. He returned at Gateway though from what I can recall. He ran with the Bowes Seal Fast team owned by Fred Azbel. These guys may be down to one car from two last year so the driver is up in the air. They ran Dave Steele, Tony Turco and Mike Koss in addition to Halliday last year.

I think Matt said on Tv over here that a lung collapsed in addition to his fractures and concussion after the accident. Wicked crash that was.

I just hope that some swedish network will broadcast all the races, Last year they broadcasted all the CART races so that was fun to see. But anyway im very happy to see him back in IRL and driving for Letterman again
. Maybe we will see him on the Late Show again.
