Paul Dumbrell Racing?
Whats this about him starting his own team up? MN reckons he will stay on at Perkins? Gtr sez he reckons he is starting his own team up. Where ever he is he will be in Autobarn colours, doesnt his dad sit on the board of Autobarn?

A couple of months ago I would have said the only place he should drive is in a demolition derby, but he seems to have passed the afiliction onto crashbandicoot.
His last few drives have been pretty good, so good luck to him however it turns out. |

No, his dad doesn't sit on Autobarns board, he is a major supplier though.
And I thought that Not-So's team was a bad idea, Sheesh! |

The ADI sponsor on the front spoiler of Perkins cars is Paul Dumbrell's old mans compamny.

Rumour has it that a V8Lites team principal is assisting to establish a new team, with perhaps Autobarn/Wynns/ADI branding in 2005.
No word on whether this is a single or multiple cars, but the idea of PDR does sort of make sense.... |

Autobarn are definitely talking to someone about a V8 Supercar deal, but, and I quote one of the Autobarn people involved in the process - "Nothing's been signed off yet".

The car for Paul Dumbrell Racing will be run just like his car was this year. Only difference being Larry won't own the franchise.

MPR in V8Lites and PDR in main series... no reason it couldnt happen... its certainly been rumoured in a not dissimilar way....
Perhaps the Hyundai sponsorship would get difficult (again!)if Mr Dumbrell brings Holden backing to the venture however... |
