Yeah I will be at Mallory but not sure if I will do any after that. Might go to Spa with the Monos instead of Snetterton with the Hondas as there really isn't a comparision there...

...im thinking of doing that as well. Nothing would compare with a race round spa. How about changing the race from snetterton to spa and get a full grid of 600's!!!!

When the mono's went to Oulton last month on the Fosters circuit there were two 1200's on the front row. Based on the times the FHondas did at Oulton at the end of last year it would have been a 1200 on pole and then 5 FHondas before the rest of the mono pack.

Don't you need an international C license to go to spa?
Have you got one DavieR? If anyone needs a spannerman for Spa, I will certainly offer my help if I'm missing Snett.

Andy, why are you quitting after Mallory?

All i know is to go to spa i need an upgrade, but for that you need 10 signatures..... and after a slight off at croft, it means i can only get 9 before spa!!!

I got my Intl C at the end of last year so that is OK but I'm still not sure if I'll go or not as it will be expensive.

I might not stop after Mallory but I might not carry on either. I have already done one year in Honda and I don't want to do another completely funded out my own pocket if I have no chance of winning. At the moment Nigel has got his car running perfectly and I can't afford the £2500 extra wing kit to be up the front with him so theres not real chance of winning. I'm only just managing to fund it myself as it is so if there is no chance of winning I am just going to save my money for something else. We'll see how it goes at Mallory first though as I still really like the Hondas.

It would really be a shame to see you finish in Hondas, but if you do will you be selling your car? Let me know if you are, I may be interested.

I understand entirely about the new wings. I can see Nigel being untouchable at Mallory, with all it's fast corners.

I don't mind having the low nose really because I knew from the sign on date I was going to be the slowest component in my car this year, but I don't know what I'd do if I were in your position with a year behind me and the speed to really push the car to the limit.

Whatever you decide, best of luck.

Old Ropey, has your username been hijacked by young Ropey now he's home from uni?

Doesn't look like I'll be going to Spa now as the ferry crossing or the chunnel are massivly expensive! Plus with the fuel on the truck all that way it just isn't going to be cost effective.

Will most likely be at Snetterton after Mallory now

JamesB Yes & he's got only 8 signatures as the second Cadwell race was rained off, by the CoC. Pain in the wotsits as young Ropey was loving it & catching F Corbyn.
