According to Racer.com, IndyCar have signed a multi-year partnership with Speedway Motorsports Inc. and will be racing at TMS next year in a double-header, with The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series

He was a bit long in the tooth to start with and had only two top ten finishes, which were this year, with 6th and 5th at TMS and Iowa. But hats off to him, he gave it a go.

Think he'll be sportscar enduro program only, Carvana and Ally still ready to support his racing. Might be a late start to the season with limited Caddy GTP cars

It was good of him to try something new. Of course he was unlikely to set the world on fire, but I thought he acquitted himself reasonably well. Probably stepping back from full time racing at the right time

I still think all Vette guys in that car. I saw a couple people saying Keating asked about a Vette for Am but the rest will have an off week this year. And have good track knowledge.

IndyCar has announced the three Open Tests for 2023, which include the Annual Indy 500 Open Test, Test at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and the first test on Feb. 2-3. at the private, world-class facility, located just outside of Palm Springs, The Thermal Club.

Well they were built by selling apartments/garage space and memberships with multiple layouts so.....


Advantage is the early Feb test dates are often mid 60 to mid 70s daytime temps so they can run and a longer circuit than the short loop at Sebring to avoid the worst bumps

I forgot this little nugget, just to drive the historical knife in a bit. Palm Springs is in Riverside County, yup this new track is only about 50 miles east in to the desert from the old Riverside Raceway.
