I know this is somewhat off-base given they have no experience with prototypes (yet), but could Grasser be in with a shout?

It does sound like whichever Italian team end up not being Ferrari's top dog will end up here to lick their wounds though. Not that I'm complaining about adding spice to an already-feisty rivalry.

not 100% sure but grasser is from austria, FFF racing is italian despite they usually run under chinese license. Anyway prema racing is one of top tier F2 teams, considering how fierce is competition in F2 and how complex the dallara F2 is, I think to handle a lmdh will be quite easy for them.
Not to mention that (unless things changed in the meantime) onroak cars are actually built in a town close to lamborghini hq, this should help to improve synergies between onroak and lamborghini.

I think is a something stricly related to lamborghini squadra corse, otherwise lamborghini would just asked for some of those 4 porsche lmdh chassis available for customers

'Finally, whether or not a manufacturer needs to compete in the top class to be eligible to race in the GT ranks is seemingly up for debate. Manufacturer sources have suggested to RACER that there has been discussion around a potential restriction to teams in the new GT class for makes not already represented in the WEC in the new Hypercar class.
