I'm going to say Constable and Thompson at PMR. Unless Bobby couldn't get a deal done hence his comments about wanting to go down the GT route.

Bobby said during the 24h Dubai, that he doesn´t have interest in the BTCC anymore and GT is his future.

He's been talking to at least one BTCC team for this year so like I said, presumably he couldn't get a deal done.

I think it is all linked to where GKR Scaffolding money has been allocated.

They backed him in 2020, and he came close to clinching the JS, which gave them good exposure for a car towards the rear of the field. Having to sit out the end of the season, and then struggling to get a package together for 2021, has seen GKR's exposure switch to Ingram.

Did GKR see a better return from backing Ingram, and so have less available for Thompson?

GKR sponsored HARD and Laser last year as well as Excelr8 so you'd imagine the budget was there for the right people.

Let's be honest that Astra is past its best.
If Lloyd and Plato struggled to get anything out of it. Not sure anyone else will be able to.
The bodykit ruined that car.
the documentary they were filming over the year should be interesting to watch.

Guess a lot of it will end up on the cutting room floor.

Depends if you believe the rumours about a tie-up between driver and team boss.

If Lloyd's not at PMR when can he be headed then? Excelr8 or Speedworks Toyota? I guess he's back in the BTCC and deal seems to be almost done judging by his social media.

It sounds as though Rob Huff has been offered a Speedworks drive, but will only accept it if he can’t get a WTCR drive. This may be wrong, it’s just what I have seen online.
