Formula Saloons is a UK club championship open to a diverse range of saloons which have got no other home. There's about 5 or 6 classes based on engine size, number of valuve, 2 or 4 wheel drive, etc etc, but basically the only requirement is 4 wheels and an engine. In recent years they've had some ex-DTM cars, an ex-Aussie V8 Holden, Sierra/Escort Cossies and lots of home-build specials like Rod Birley's V8-powered Honda Prelude. A couple of years back they added a class for SuperTourers which has been very popular. Have a look at http://www.formulasaloons.com/ for more details.
FIA International Touring Car Championship (ITC for short) was the international version of the old style DTM - Mecedes C-class, Alfa 156 and Opel Calibra, 2.5 litre V6's, 4 wheel drive (mostly) and more fly by wire electronics than the space shuttle. Ran for a couple of years in the mid-90's before Opel and Alfa ditched it for something cheaper (like burning £50 notes) |

Formula Saloons ar good as I've watched them a few times. And the FIA International Touring Car Championship - was that not the ITC?
