Was it just me or was Ms De Silvestro not particularly angry at having her engine expire yesterday?
Yes she was and between this and missing the test day I thought she was on the outer at Nissan.

It is starting to feel like she won't be in Supercars next year.

I cannot see the point of hiring SDS for anything except publicity. Dont they have the publicity machine already with CL ? She clearly wouldn't be winning many of those silver things posted above.

She indirectly comes with a lot of money.

Whether that's more important than results to Mr Dane, is key.

Could it because no Autobarn money? The Dumbrell's have sold Automotive Brands Group and he is leaving his role at Bapcor it was announced on the weekend during telecast.

Guessing Simona would come with Harvey Norman dollars.

The thing I just don't get is why would Triple Eight want to sell the REC? To me, surely they would lease it if no sponsorship dollars came the way to support running the third TE car?

You can only lease it for 2 years, so why lease it if you don't have plans for it?

He'll flog it, and go back to the 2-car model that is preferred.

I did hear also that its was becoming hard to engage sponsorship for the 3rd car even with Mr CL driving.

Maybe Holden can no longer afford it, given their dive bomb in sales?

I think its quite sad if Simona doesn't spend at least one season in a decent ride and no the Nissan doesn't cut it. Its hard to see her full potential driving that POS especially when you see flashes of what could have been such as what we saw at Newcastle last year.

So if the Konsteki brothers buy into the 3rd 888 REC and possibly the Tekno REC, could they run a two car team with SDS in one?

Can't see SDS be at the very least happy with a lackluster non-factory Nissan team.

If the Kostecki deal falls over like the Simona one apparently did, perhaps Lowndes could then 'un-retire'.

Points-wise, there's only 3 people currently running better than him..

CL watch this space WAU

UNLESS he likes the casual overseas option, a bit of racing and Fox commentating.

That would be a strange option, given his prior unhappy history at HRT, as well as the big step backwards.

I wonder where Mr Richards will land next year?

Besides another lousy season aboard the BMW, his Sandown form was decent.

MSR Lease REC , but will the Bright one part with it ? $$$$$$
