Nope, Peter Jackson paid good money to be on Glen Seton's cars in the 90's when the cigarette ban came into force.

Pack Leader racing was Alan Jones Racing, not Glen Seton, and it didn't last more than a year.

The Government's legislation on this is quite clear, if your intent is to promote or sell smoking-related products, you're in the gun sights.

Didn't Phillip Morris specify they wanted a Bathurst win or ATCC title in 1996 or they wouldn't renew for 1997?

They got neither, so the sponsorship went, and AJ sold out to the Stones within another 12 months.

I am not aware of that, and they can save face however they want, but if that car had continued they would have gone to court and lost.
