“schumi Wdc # 6 ”

What a season and what a champion! Michael Schumacher is the Formula One WDC of 2003 (B) - Congratulations Michael. Also congratulations to Ferrari for winning the WCC of 2003.

The real measure of what happened this year was the number of the following comparisons with his rivals once again Schumi not only leading the pack out on most Fridays but also: 7 GPs, 5 pole positions, 5 fastest laps. Schumi once again demonstrated his dogged perseverance and awesome driving talent. 2003 was lesson six in how to become a Formula One World Driver Champion.

Us Schumi fans eagerly anticipate 2004, where debatably we will witness lesson seven.

More exciting than 2001 and 2002, but the same result at the end.

WELL DONE to Michael. A worthy WDC as ever, scaling ever greater heights.

A tough race in Japan, a tough season in 2003. But in the end, the best driver of his era emerged as Champion... MICHAEL SCHUMACHER!

Great stuffs. With far greater number of wins, and a great share of fastest laps/poles/point finishes, coupled with a few brilliant race drives esp in Canada, Monza and Indy, Michael had rewritten the record books and proved that he deserve to be ranked among the best ever "Hall of Fame".

Great things for Ferrari too. A year's hard work had paid off, and it's time they celebrate the evening!

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER - 6 times WDC
FERRARI - WCC 5 times in a row

A great addition to their already huge achievements. A new chapter of Ferrari history.

Brilliant. I am so happy that Michael has a sixth title, a new record and four in a row as well. Ferrari have done a fantastic job and Michael is World Champion again! Number 6. I hope all those who said Michael was finished after Brazil and a sittting duck after Hungary are eating their hats right now.

Congratulations!!

To Michael for his performance over the season in many difficult situations. Apart from his abilities in the car, he showed that an iron will and a calm head also win races and Championships.

To Ferrari for producing the car and team and for maintaining an exceptional record of excellence and reliability.

And to ourselves for having had the luck to witness history being made today.

Cheers,

RT

Cheers to Michael!

They tried everything to throw a spanner in the works for you and you still pulled it off.

The only thing that could top this is if I won the Predictions Competition

Well he tried his damnedest to steal defeat from the hands of victory but got away with it. A worth Champion in the end but a weak race for him in Japan. Very much a "bone head" move on Sato from way back could have cost him dear. Vindication really that the guy is falable and still makes silly errors when under pressure.

Solid race from Raikkonen, but he just didn't seem to have the pace in the car to do anything about Barrichello.

Good drive from Rubens, although he was never really challenged, deserved race winner as he was the only one of the top guys that ever looked like winning today.

Shame for Montoya to have the mechanical failure, he may have given Rubens a good fight for the win as he clearly had the pace and was simply awsome on those semi-damp opening laps.

Ralf was lacklustre at best, needn't really say more.

All in all a deserved WDC for Schu, he had to fight for it for once and it's set up a superbly exciting 2004.

Forza Scuderi Ferrari!!

I'm over the moon, Brian.

Congratulations Michael, congratulations Rubens, congratulations Ferrari!

A huge achievement, not only for Michael but also for Ferrari. There's no doubt this one was the hardest, and over the season Michael has shown there's plenty of fight in him yet - he ain't gonna handover to the young guns without a battle! Experience and tenacity is what won this title. And it'll take more of the same to win number seven.

From a big Kimi fan, well done to Michael Schumacher. This I think his greatest title as he's won against a lot of worthy rivals. And I'm sure it would had been a seventh had he not had his accident in 1999.

Congrats Michael! Retire while you're ahead and don't end up leaving F1 on a Damon-Hill-note! That would be most unfitting.

Apart from the Sato move (brain fade I think Ron would call it) he drove well and achieved exactly what he needed.

Congratulations Michael and Ferrari, an oustanding fightback in a very tough year.
