Well folks, who's coming to Lakeside to see this one? I know Crash will be there, but who else? Falc, maybe or some interstaters?

Should be a very good meeting. 25 Historic Touring cars entered for our final championship rounds, including Kevin Heffernan in Gary Jackson's Monaro!!!! Two new guys also having their first run, one in John McKeown's XU-1 and the other in a Datsun 1600. Yes there'll be two of us, hip hip.......
29 Improved Production cars with 3 Saloon Cars thrown in. Also two new guys having their first run, one in a 4.1 litre Ford and the other in a Ford Escort RS1800, blue oval sweet and sour perhaps? Also some guy called Wayne Wakefield is entered in a Mazda RX-3. Never heard of him, is he worth watching?
But wait, there's more, much more, 26 yes 26 Sports Sedans, I didn't know we had that many. Plus HQs, Geminis, Formula Ford, Formula Vee and a big, mixed field of sports cars.

We are very very pleased with a turn out of 168 entrants....who said state level motorsport was in trouble? Me? Never...

Actually I'm told we had to knock back entries for the Improved Production, so that is fantastic.

Also the reduced program, and the lack of entries at the last round at QR has helped bump up the fields, but i think the FVees are a little lwo on it at the moment.

Make sure you pick up a program and read all of the dribble that i wrote over a few hours last week.
