Welcome along to Ten-Tenths Andy Just watch out, you might live to regret having invited the Ten-Tenths Gang along to meet you
Is anyone planning on staying over for the Snetterton weekend? There's no way I'm driving there and back in one day - too far!

Yep - too far from here too, Cazzer.

It might be too cold for camping - are you stopping in a travel lodge again ? I've heard that there's a good one nearby called the Linton Travel Tavern - have you heard of it ?

Haven't thought at all what I'm doing, preferably something as cheap as possible as I'll be recovering from paying the car insurance next month

Blimey - you lot call yourselves club racing enthusiasts and not camping in October - wots wrong gone soft or summink !!!
I remember when.....
Actually we did once camp at Lydden on New Years Eve, boy that was cold - but what a party - good job they wern't breathalysing us in Scrutineering !
Seriously though there are some damn site better places than the motorlodge hotels - We've used a couple of really good farm B&B's in the past when doing the Birket relay, (that's the following week I think - not doing it this year, couldn't find a drive)
Can't come up with any names right now but if you ring the circuit they would certainly be able to pass on some numbers
Although this may be the last outing for the CSCC boys now the BARC Classic package has finished the other part of that show - the Classic single seaters still have a couple of rounds left. Castle Combe on 7th October for 1600's and 2000's - part of their Formula Ford Carnival - or should that be Carnage ??? (the Junior Zetecs are there too) - You going to be there Dan et al - if so which post and I'll try and behave myself in your patch.
Also on 21st October there's the Brands FF Festival.
Sorry I won't get to meet you all at Snett.

So who's going, and when are they? Craig, are we not braving the elements again?

I'm up for a hotel - much warmer than a bloody tent; much more comfortable beds than the passenger seat in a Pug!!

Excellent! Thanks Dan, i'll take you up on that offer of the hotel; seeing as i've always put a roof over your head when we've stayed at the track, I reckon it must mean it's your turn

Yep, after you putting us up at your flat recently, Lorna, I reckon you are

Dan, make sure you book up before we go - it might be hard to find a hotel at the last moment with 5 or 6 spare rooms...

Oh, did I mention that I'm going home the week before that meeting? Pommy Barstards...

Carrie, you tend to stay at hotels; what are they around the Snetterton area? Remembering that we're not millionaires...

I've stayed in one B&B in Swaffham, that's all, can't remember how much that cost.

Swaffham is miles away! There is a banger track there though, so maybe we could borrow Mallett's Crapi ?

I had the rather distresssing experience of speaking to Skippy on the phone this afternoon, and he didn't appreciate the idea of paying for a hotel, so he'll be paying for the campsite instead and we'll be staying at the track. Thanks Dan.

Anyone want to tell me how much this is going to cost? Having just shelled out for the car insurance I'm now doing my best to be completely broke

You might need to remind me but since I've been in the Netherlands I've discovered an alternative to Hob-Nobs. I might just bring some along for your delectation.

No worries, Peter. I'm looking forward to it.

And I even enthused about the CSCC so much last night that I've got two motor sport innocents persuaded along to it too.

Hmm. Snetterton in October. This could be kill or cure!

I think you'll have to count me out on this one. Renewing the car insurance turned out to be a bit of a killer for the bank balance

1055-1155 scrutineering
1210-1230 qualifying

BTW. Its the final race of the day so we should be able to enjoy the market traffic jam. Oh great.

Sorry you can't make it Carrie. Maybe see you at the Autosports show.
