GP2 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Winning Attitude Awards: You decide!

Hi guys

Thought you might like a heads up on an online vote we're running on www.gp2series.com

It's less than a month until the fourth annual Winning Attitudes Awards, and we're giving fans of the GP2 series the chance to vote for one of the awards. This is the first year that the WAA have been held in association with the GP2 series, and we're very proud to be continuing this important ceremony which acts as a major fundraiser for the Gonzalo Rodriguez Memorial Foundation.

The award we'd like you to vote for is "Which 2005 GP2 series driver has displayed the best driving style?"

As we explain in the news piece, your translation or understanding of "driving style" can be totally yours. With no traction control or power steering, the GP2 series cars are a lot to handle, and our drivers have shown some great racing this season... but which of the 25 GP2 series drivers has driven the cars in a way which gave you the most excitement? Clean or clinical or sideways to victory? How do you like to watch your racing?

The link below will take you to the online poll... you only get one vote so think hard!

We're looking forward to seeing the response.

Thanks, as always, for your support

Adam Carroll's opposite-lock slide while overtaking onto the start-finish straight at Imola encapsulates the essence of this for me.

Pla's been entertaining all year long though, either spins or wins.

i loved when kovalainen overtook carroll at mangy cours. despite havinf a much slower car, carroll still managed to push heikki into defending the position and then he went really sideways. how he saved the car from having a big shunt i dont know.

adam carrolls driving style is the reason im his fan. i always like to see a driver who hangs his car out on the ragid edge and goes faster for it. just like my all time racing hero gilles villeneuve. im voting carroll.

Adam Carroll's driving style for me is very good, always good to see a driver who takes the car by the scruff of the neck and drags it around after him and is faster for it. Im going for Carroll too, his driving style reminds me of Tomas Enge's.

Its got to be Carroll, simply because he got the lead of a race by overtaking whilst on opposite-lock at Imola. Superb!

I'm sure Carroll will be awarded this year in the Winning Attitude Awards.

Looks like you were all right on your assumptions... All the guys have shown great style this year, but there can be only one winner.

Here's the top ten for you...

1 Adam Carroll 15.26%
2 Alex Premat 12.39%
3 Heikki Kovalainen 11.50%
4 Nico Rosberg 10.26%
5 Scott Speed 8.36%
6 Giorgio Pantano 8.04%
7 Nelson Piquet Jr 5.79%
8 Gimmi Bruni 4.25%
9 Ernesto Viso 3.93%
10 Neel Jani 3.79%

Wheres Lauda? I'm fascinated to find out just how slow he will be each weekend!

Serously though, my vote goes to Carrol with Rosberg a close second, hes got his father in him for sure!
