Ian Lewis should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Great Weekend at Donington Park

A big thanks to all at Donington Park at the weekend.
If you were not there then you missed a good one. Great people, great marshals and Jim W too!

We arrived on the BRSCC (NW) Rescue Unit alomg with 3 others ! We outnumbered the marshals 2:1 apart from this *ock up everthing else went well.

We had a visit from the MSA Steward on the Sunday. This spot check is too see if the Unit is fit for purpose!
Useually this means checking the Licences and paperwork together with asking to see various items of kit that are rarely used but must be carried.

What you have to bear in mind is one Month ago this Unit was a Van. The conversion took place and over 200 unpaid man hours later Bingo!! everyhing in place and a place for everything. This amounts to- dedication. Most of the work was done by the two Simon's (Morrell and Rowbottom)-thanks

We passed the test. we had a great weekend . we finished at a reasonable time. thanks again Donington

This sounds like a bit of a plug for BRSCC rescue rather than a pat on the back to donny!!

I forgot to mention 15 close races over the weekend the G.T. race was close with the lead changing lap after lap only being settled when the leaders came up against a backmarker - nah never touched me!! what blue flag??

So thats why we didn't see you at Anglesey, you decided to go and lounge around on a rescue unit instead of roughing it at Anglesey, no wonder the orange line getting a bit thin!!

I thought it was settled when Cheng stuffed it into the tyre wall at the Esses. Or are you talking about a different race?

OK so which category do you mean for me? Or do I just fit neatly into both?

Remember that I have a long memory and even now that you have retreated from real life to the rescue unit we may still meet.

I'm going to give it a miss this time.

I think the standard of racing has fallen and the amount of hassle getting into the circuit has gone up 3 fold.

The first Oulton BSB meeting really put me off !

I know Oli Poyser won one of the races before crashing out on the next race as we where chasing the start.

Sorry I have to confess can't remember the other winners but lets be fair there was 12 Legend races over the weekend.

I'm glad you had a good time at Donington though and I will see you at Anglesey this coming weekend.
