Mik should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
MGCC Donington 6th May - Thanks all!

Just a note to once again say thanks to all the marshals (and everyone else) who helped run the meeting at Donington park yesterday. I had a great time. Hope you didn't get too soggy in the afternoon. The rain certainly made the track more, erm... interesting... to drive on. I look forward to doing it all again at Snetterton in a couple of weeks time.

Glad you enjoyed the day. It wasn't too soggy, but the track did look fairly interesting! I tried to find you at lunchtime - found Little Aggie, but no driver! See you sometime no doubt

Did Steve Crane (TR7 driver) get his trousers back?

I wasn't aware Steve had lost his trousers...I'll not ask...

Joyce - I was in the caf' at lunchtime waiting for a sausage-and-egg-butty shortage to be resolved.

He was fully trousered last time I saw him. I know we had one driver (Hugh) with a lost wallet, but that was handed in to race control and returned to him, or did I miss something?

I'd like to second Mik in thanking everyone, after being recovered twice (electrical failure in practise, driver failure in race) I feel I ought to...

OK here is the story of the lost trousers.
I went for a pee in the toilets under the hospitality suits near the pub. There was a pair of jeans and a sweat shirt screwed up in the corner of the wash basins.

There was a wallet with a donor card in the name of S Crane, there was also cash and credit cards in there as well. Not wanting to leave it there in case someone decided to help themselves to the cash I then walked all the way up to race control and handed them in there.

I assumed the S Crane was Steve Crane who was out racing at the time (and doing quite well) and had got changed in a hurry and left his clothes in the loo.
After all this I missed my mate who I was supposed to meet in the Redgate pub and never got my beer.

Blimey, well done. When are you next racing with us? I'm sure he'll be grateful enough to get you a beer to replace the one you missed?
