Well the engine in the back is a good start at a tie-in I'd say.

Imo the Core 'Nissan' is by far the best retro livery out there (at this point) and I hope the 'Ooww's-and-Aaww's are so overwhelming, Bennett will consider running the second car as well!

Probably about the same as ByKolles. They just buy/lease the engine iirc. I wish it were more than that but it's unlikely. At least they get to run the retro colors, that looks nice.

Agree, this year is just a retro-tribute dictated mood so everything is legit;

but honestly core has the same tie with nissan as an average joe who bought an used nissan sentra. That's why it's quite weird to see a team tributing something that actually never shared for real.


I could understand to see at example ferrari 488 risi with the red/yellow momo themed livery because of their long history with ferrari; it's just core running with a classic nissan livery that looks strange to me. But as I said, everything is legit.

Seems like another team is rocking the retro look, possibly for the season according to DSC. Starworks with the old Audi GTO livery. Is it a sign I'm old that I looked at it and thought "retro?" that just just looks like an Audi livery. Had to remember it has been a while since it was used though.



They are expecting at least one other team to do a retro livery as well.

There's so many R8s out there running different Audi schemes that it's not particularly unique among modern liveries.

Would take the sign off from a racer who most recently ran in WC with his own MOMO car. And has run the livery on his cars in HSR. Henrique Cisneros and the Cisneros group own the brand now but I don't think we've seen him on track much lately and I didn't remember their cars at the Mitty either this year.

That retro Audi livery has been done so many times that it's now just a modern livery again lol. It's been redone more than it was done during the original era.
