Derwent Motorsp should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Looks like a very good entry for this event with some notable cars that don't come out for "clubbies" that often.
Looking forward to it.

Nice tin, should be a good meeting.

Will be there bright and early for a good wander through the garages.

Enjoyed the day.
Not many Astons but a good eclectic entry.

Will try and post a few shots during the week.

I had a great time - thanks to Iain and the boys for getting her ready.

I came second in class (which was a surprise) and even got a pot as a prize which was an even bigger surprise!! My first ever...Mrs Morrison was unfortunately possibly left with the impression that due to her husband's self promoted new found talent the day job was going to be abandoned in favour of a full time racing career...it might have been the wine talking that evening but I may have a vague recollection of perhaps being just a tad carried away ...may have mentioned something about sponsorship with Lear Jet...all expenses trips to the Maldives...any thoughts as to how I could let her down gently?

Hello Peter

Thanks for the picture of David in the DB2. Interesting tyre direction in relation to the way the car is pointing - he tells me this was when he hit the oil the MG dropped.

I suspect a similar picture may well have been possible in the last race when the rain came down - it turned the circuit in to a ice rink! I'd been warned I might have a slow puncture and was about to come in before I realised everyone else I was coming up to was also having difficulty staying on the black stuff.

A great mixture of grids and racing throughout. Having watched the races at the Touring Car meeting at Donington this weekend, and looking at the grid sizes of most of their races, our's seem to be double or even treble the size of some of those.

I liked David Lillywhite's comments in Octane about the good racing and informal atmostphere for a fracture of the cost of going to Goodwood the weekend before.

Roll on Oulton Park on the 10th May.

Anne

I really like the way the AMOC has shaped its race meetings in the last year or two. Add a class for single seaters (FJs? –*I think the AMOC hosted these a few seasons ago?) and I'd be even happier.
